Extraction of Air
Extracting the consumed air is essential to draw fresh air into the growing room and minimizes smell.
This setup is exemplary and the standard installation with our Grow-Shop-Components:

The Active Carbon Filter (1) has to be put / installed inside the Grow-Area i.e. where the consumed air originates. The filter is connected with the Fan (3) by Flexible Air Tube (2). The air has to be drawn through the filter (not blown). Otherwise the filter abrades quicker. This means the fan has to be setup correctly i.d. it blows in the opposite direction (not in the filters direction).
The fan can be installed outside the grow-area. Therefor the tube connecting with the filter has to be long enough to be led out the growing space. If the fan is installed inside (where the consumed air is) it is essential to fix another tube on the outlet of the fan and to lead the air outside the growing space (otherwise the air is just blown in circles but not replaced).
Besides the air tubes represented on the picture above there are also soundproof tubes to minimize noises.
To connect the tubes with filter an fan you need Hose Clamps (4) or Shrink Tape (5).
