Fluorescent tubes are available in different styles. The suitable light-spectrum for plant and growth stage is needed.

For the growing stage 6500 Kelvin are needed. For the blooming stage you need 2700 Kelvin. This simluates the natural light spectrum in spring/early summer and summer/late summer.

Fluorescent tubes have to be changed every one or two years depending on wear.

It is essential to watch the minimum distance between lamp and leaf apexes. The leafes should not be exposed to more than 30 degrees centigrade. Otherwise most plants stop growing or get hurt.
